From my experiences:
Will work with Mac OS 9 *if* you disable all extensions at boot (hit and hold shift during system startup). https://site-4776068-3154-9201.mystrikingly.com/blog/cool-beach-cool-mac-os. I have seen it work on an LC and LCIII - it's slightly slow at the 16Mhz LC speed. Runs great at LCIII speed (25Mhz). Works on 512x364 (12' monitors) and 640x480 monitors (13'). May run in a higher resolution - but not tested.
